思维方式的形成是人走向成熟的基础﹐没有成熟的思维就不可能有完美的行 为方式。李博士毕业于台湾大学数学系，在台大拿到数学硕士学位后来美深造, 在 Purdue University数学系博士班研读。其后转而攻读电脑系，取得电脑博士 学位。毕业后，先后在Hughes Network Systems ，贝尔通讯实验室 (Bellcore) ，和 TransTech Networks担任资深软件研究员。
2000年在台湾成立思马特科技股份公司研发生产设备自动化一系列控制器 材，包括硬件及软件的设计研发，现已逐步进入量产阶段。然而在中国大陆家 喻户晓的是，1995 年李博士创办的英数资优教室，至今声誉雀起，桃李满天 下。多年来﹐李博士举办的英数资优教育为什么如此受到欢迎？为什么参加 的学生能在MagnetProgram 的入学测验考得高分和SAT 的测验取得满意的成 绩？为什么同样是学习而效果如此不同？本报记者对李博士进行了专访。
无心插柳柳成荫
谈话幽默﹑思路敏捷的李博士说﹕“我本来是想到大学教书，因缘际会， 没有教大学生，反而教起中小学生来，而且越教越有味道。”在Purdue University数学系期间曾教授Calculus。深深地体会到美国数学教育薄弱， 实际了解到美国初中，高中所学的与大学所需的，实在有一段落差。
华人家长重视基础教育，如同我们种树，精心而慢慢的培养，让小树始 终在一个良好的环境中长成一棵参天大树的过程一样。所以华人的子女在美 国基础学科的竞赛中常脱颖而出成为优胜者。作为生活在美国的华人，要想 在美国进入主流社会，首先必须要有别人没有的优势和能力。在我教育培养 子女的过程中，我开始注意这方面的探讨，许多家长在了解我的教学方法 与培训内容之后，都纷纷把孩子送到Dr. Li 英数学校来上课。也让更多优秀 的华人子弟，在一个良好的数学氛围中学习到更多的知识和方法，进而产生 良性竞争，激发学习潜能。在学习的过程中用最有效的方法，最清晰的思路， 最佳的效果去学习。现在建立这样一个推向社会、推向群体的教学中心受到 大家的认可，真正的推动教育与教学，让学生可以收到良好的学习效果。
